Karnataka schools asked to return excess Rs 15 crore RTE funds paid to them
The Karnataka school education department has issued notices to 2,182 private schools to return Rs 15 crore in excess RTE reimbursement received during 2012-2016. Schools argue they already spent more than they received, and await further communication from authorities.
