Kemmu casts Zinta against type: Director wanted a badass avatar
Kunal Kemmu cast Preity Zinta in "VIBE" to show her in a never-before-seen "badass" action avatar, unaware she was simultaneously shooting her comeback film "Batwara 1947." He similarly cast Sparsh Shrivastava against type. Kemmu says he won Zinta over through the script alone. The film releases September 18, also starring debutante Vanshika Dhir.
