Kolkata's first metro link to airport set to be ready by March 2025
Kolkata Metro's Yellow Line extension to the airport is nearing completion, with trial runs set for December 2024 and full operation by March 2025. The 7km Noapara-Jai Hind stretch will connect the airport to the existing metro network, enabling seamless travel for commuters. Final preparations, including fire safety installations and platform finishing touches, are underway at Jai Hind station.
