Ladki voter: Female turnout rises 6 percentage points in 5 districts of Maharashtra
The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, a scheme launched by the Mahayuti government, seems to have boosted women's voter turnout in the recent Maharashtra assembly elections. Five districts with the highest scheme beneficiaries saw a significant increase in women casting their votes compared to the general election.
