Lalit Prabhakar used YouTube and photos to transform into Kasab for Prahaar
Lalit Prabhakar has revealed how a single YouTube video, publicly available photographs and conversations with director Avinash Arun helped him prepare to play Ajmal Kasab in ‘Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam’. The actor also read Ramesh Mahale’s book 26/11 Kasab Ani Me while researching the role. Prabhakar said perfecting Kasab’s dialect and tone was a major challenge, while Arun wanted the portrayal to focus on the character’s psychology rather than melodrama.
