Leopard mauls farm woman to death on Bengaluru outskirts
A 50-year-old farm woman, Kariyamma, was killed and partially eaten by a leopard near Bengaluru, India. The leopard attacked while she was harvesting grass, mistaking her for prey. Although villagers attempted to rescue her, they were driven back by the leopard. Forest officials have launched a search operation to capture the animal.
