Maharashtra election: Candidate seeks ban on slippers near polling booths citing code violation
Gurudas Sambhaji Kamble, an independent candidate in Maharashtra's Paranda assembly seat, has requested a unique ban. Concerned that footwear might violate election rules due to his "chappals" symbol, Kamble urged the election officer to prohibit slippers within 200 meters of polling booths.
