As vote counting commenced in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena candidates Sanjay Nirupam and Mahesh Sawant, along with Shaina NC, expressed confidence in their victory. Nirupam, visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple, predicted a win for the Mahayuti alliance. Sawant echoed similar sentiments after seeking blessings at the temple.
