Maharashtra polls: Paid leave for employees in Mumbai on November 20
All workplaces in Mumbai must give employees time off to vote in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections on November 20. The Mumbai District Election Officer made this decision to encourage voting. Companies that do not follow this rule may face consequences. Employees cannot have their pay reduced for taking time off to vote.
