Major gunfight underway between security forces, Maoists at Odisha-Chhattisgarh border
A fierce gunfight erupted between security forces and Maoists in the Kularighat reserve forest located on the Odisha-Chhattisgarh border. Acting on intelligence, Odisha and Chhattisgarh police, along with the CRPF, launched an anti-Naxal operation. The forest area falls within Chhattisgarh's Gariaband district, adjacent to Odisha's Nuapada district.
