Man falls from 7th floor, iron rod pierces intestine and bone; walks again
Cheena Kumar survived a fall from the seventh floor, which impaled him with a rod. Doctors performed emergency surgery after the horrific injury and massive blood loss. The rod pierced his intestine and narrowly missed vital organs during the procedure. Kumar recovered without infection and was discharged after about a week. He is now recovering at home with his family in Uttar Pradesh.
