Margot Robbie's 'Neighbours' episodes to get AI treatment
Episodes of the Australian soap opera Neighbours featuring Margot Robbie are being reworked into vertical microdramas. Former cast members have expressed concerns about consent and usage of their performances in this new format. The first installment will focus on Robbie's character, Donna Freedman, while combining two of her storylines into short episodes. The adaptation aims to attract younger viewers through a mobile-first approach to classic content.
