Maryland manure-lagoon overflow kills nearly 11,000 fish across 25 species, officials say
A tragic incident has unfolded at Basin Run, where nearly 11,000 fish have succumbed to the consequences of a manure lagoon overflow from Kilby Farms. The Maryland Department of the Environment has traced the source of this discharge back to a series of ongoing pollution violations. Local residents, frustrated with the recurring environmental harm, are demanding accountability.
