Mass movement to create paper bags for Bengaluru's Kadalekai Parishe
Bengaluru's Basavanagudi Kadalekai Parishe is going green this year, with vendors distributing groundnuts in paper bags made from old newspapers. The Zero Waste Collective is leading the initiative, collaborating with RWAs, NGOs, and educational institutions to promote sustainability. They have already crafted over 60,000 paper bags, with residents actively participating in bag-making sessions.
