Metro connect to link Kalwa, Mumbra, DIva with Thane
The Thane Integral Ring Metro rail project will extend to Kalwa, Mumbra, and Diva. This extension aims to integrate fast-growing suburbs into the transit network. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has given in-principle approval for this proposed metro extension. A Detailed Project Report for the extension has already been prepared by officials. Metro officials assured residents about the safety of homes during underground tunnelling work.
