MHA: 364 Maoists, including 12 top leaders, killed last year; 2,337 surrendered
Security forces neutralized 364 Naxals, arrested 1,022, and saw 2,337 surrender last year as Left-wing extremism incidents dropped significantly. The number of affected districts has fallen to 32 from 61 since 2019, with a substantial dip in violence and casualties. The government aims to eradicate Naxalism by March 31, 2026.
