More than 32,000 farmers get Rs15cr for millet production
Celebrating a significant milestone for agrarian communities, Jharkhand's Agriculture Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey has allocated more than Rs 15 crore to empower 32,000 farmers in cultivating popular millets like ragi and madua. The state is set to start madua procurement from districts including Gumla, Simdega, and Khunti, using strategies paralleling those of paddy procurement.
