Mumbai cabbie charges NRI Rs 2,800 for 10-minute ride with fake app, held
An Australia-based NRI businessman was defrauded by a taxi driver at Mumbai airport. The driver charged Rs 2,800 for a 10-minute ride to Vile Parle using a fake app. The cheating was detected after the businessman reached his hotel. The taxi driver was later arrested by the police following a complaint from the victim.
