Mumbai contract killing: JJ Hospital convict Subhash Thakur held for builder’s murder; encrypted apps used to direct assassins
Serving a life sentence for the 1993 JJ Hospital killings, Subhash Singh Thakur has been arrested by Maharashtra police for orchestrating a builder's contract killing in Virar in 2022. Despite being incarcerated, Thakur allegedly used encrypted apps to direct associates who carried out the murder stemming from a property dispute.
