Nagaland orders ban on burning forests during dry season
In an urgent move to protect its natural resources, Nagaland's fire services have implemented a strict prohibition on forest burning during the dry season, following a dramatic rise in fire incidents. The previous year saw an alarming 188 fires, with the Kohima district alone accounting for 91.
