New Delhi gears up for BWF World Championships
New Delhi is set to welcome the BWF World Championships in 2026, marked by the unveiling of Peacko, the official mascot. The championship's anthem, featuring Indian badminton players, was also launched. Union Sports Minister and BAI president highlighted India's rising prominence in badminton. More than 400 competitors from 50 different countries will vie for glory, with India's top medalists and emerging stars at the forefront.
