Noida set to become semiconductor hub with Rs 30,700 crore investment; HCL Set to establish major 'Fab' units
Noida is set to become a major semiconductor hub. The city will soon have two large semiconductor manufacturing units. The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the proposals. One unit is a joint venture between the Hiranandani Group and the Uttar Pradesh government. The other unit is a joint venture between HCL Group and Foxconn Hon Hai Technology.
