Only 15% going to work use public transport: NSO

The National Household Travel Survey indicates that only 15% of workers use public transport for commuting. It reveals that 46% of workers rely on two-wheelers and cars, leading to traffic congestion. Walking is the second most common commute mode, with 28.3% of workers traveling on foot. Student commuting patterns differ significantly, with 37% walking to educational institutions.
