Operation 'Cyber Kavach': 1,346 mule a/cs with Rs 145 cr transactions in Odisha's four districts
Odisha police have detected 1,346 mule accounts involved in transactions totaling Rs 145 crore as part of operation 'Cyber Kavach'. These accounts, primarily in Sambalpur, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, and Balangir districts, were used to launder funds from cyber scams. Authorities have arrested 40 individuals for facilitating these accounts, with many accused unable to explain the suspicious high-value transactions.
