Pathum Nissanka ruled out of Pakistan Test series, Lahiru Udara named replacement
Sri Lanka encounters a hurdle as opener Pathum Nissanka has been ruled out of the forthcoming Test series against Pakistan. Despite efforts to recover from his left hamstring injury sustained back in September, he hasn’t regained full fitness. Lahiru Udara steps in as his replacement and joins the squad already in Pakistan. Kusal Mendis will take the reins as captain, supported by seasoned players Dinesh Chandimal and Dhananjaya de Silva.
