Police arrest DMK youth wing leader in Pocso case; autopsy reveal severe injuries
A local DMK youth wing leader, Periyanayagam, has been arrested under the POCSO Act in connection with the death of a two-and-a-half-year-old girl in Krishnagiri. The child's father filed a complaint after a postmortem revealed internal injuries. Investigators allege Periyanayagam sexually assaulted the toddler while her mother was absent, leading to her death.
