Prevention over cure: Delhi's winter pollution plan brings strict fuel norms and staggered timings from November 1

Delhi has unveiled a proactive winter air quality management plan to combat pollution. From November 1 to February 28, measures like mandatory PUC certificates for fuel, doubled parking fees, and 50% office attendance will be enforced. Non-BS-VI commercial vehicles from outside the city will be restricted, and construction sites must adopt dust control. This aims to prevent emergency actions by allowing early preparation.
