Psychology says children who change the subject after being praised may have these problems
Children's reactions to praise can often surprise parents, as their responses are shaped by their unique social experiences and preferences. Some may feel uneasy or shy when complimented in front of others. By providing more tailored and specific praise, parents can enhance their child's comfort level. It's crucial for parents to observe their child's reactions closely, rather than hastily assuming issues like low self-esteem or emotional challenges.
