PV Sindhu, Harmanpreet Singh get top Athletes’ Commission posts
PV Sindhu has been elected as the chairperson of the Indian Olympic Association’s Athletes’ Commission. Harmanpreet Singh will serve as the vice-chairperson, but both lack voting rights in the upcoming elections. Tokyo Olympics silver medallist Mirabai Chanu and swimmer Sajan Prakash will represent athletes in the general assembly with voting rights. There are several nominations for the Sportspersons of Outstanding Merit positions, with prominent figures among the candidates.
