Recasting Bablu Pandit: Gurmmeet explains choice
'Mirzapur: The Movie' has grossed Rs 333.29 crore worldwide by Day 27. Director Gurmmeet Singh says replacing Vikrant Massey with Jitendra Kumar as Bablu Pandit became a "blessing in disguise," allowing the team to reimagine the character with more agency. The film, released September 4, stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and others.
