Retired Keralam DGP Sreelekha ‘resigns’ as councillor, BJP moves to placate her
Retired DGP and BJP councillor R Sreelekha has chosen to resign from her position in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, voicing concerns about her marginalization by party leaders following the electoral results. Her departure could diminish the BJP's presence in the council, lowering their total to 49 members. In response, the party is actively seeking a dialogue to rectify the situation prior to her resignation taking effect.
