Revolutionary stroke treatment in India: Grassroot trial's success with advanced stent-retriever
AIIMS Delhi successfully treated a stroke patient using an advanced stent-retriever device as part of the GRASSROOT clinical trial. This device retrieves clots from arteries and aims to provide affordable stroke treatment in India. The trial, approved by DCGI and CDSCO, is ongoing across 16 centers and will gather data for device approval and targeted treatment plans.
