Rs 112.2cr to boost local governance in Odisha: Minister
Odisha is set to receive Rs 112.2 crore from the Centre under the Revamped Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan to bolster local governance. This funding, spanning from 2022-23 to 2025-26, aims to enhance leadership and administrative skills for gram panchayats. Over 7.5 lakh participants have already benefited from extensive training programs, including specialized modules for women representatives and financial independence initiatives.
