Safety nod for Mumbai Metro 4, 4A get safety clearance; partial opening likely later this year
The Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety has issued clearance for Metro 4 and 4A rolling stock. This crucial step brings the new metro corridors closer to their operational launch. Initially, trains from other lines will be deployed until new rakes arrive. Gaimukh metro station will serve as an interim facility for train servicing. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority anticipates the corridor's opening soon.
