Sahitya Akademi fellowship for Pratibha Ray
The Sahitya Akademi has recommended its highest honour, the Sahitya Akademi Fellowship, for three distinguished writers. Odia writer Pratibha Ray, Sindhi writer Lakhmi Khilani, and Urdu writer Abdus Samad received this rare distinction. The decision was made by the general council of the Sahitya Akademi. This honour recognizes writers of exceptional merit and lasting contributions to Indian literature.
