Satyajit Banerjee, vice-chairman of West Bengal's North Barrackpore Municipality found hanging in room
Satyajit Banerjee, 67, vice-chairman of North Barrackpore Municipality, was found dead in his rented accommodation. A suicide note found at the scene suggests Banerjee was being blackmailed with a video clip. Police are investigating the individuals named in the note and awaiting autopsy results.
