Saudi Summit Postponed To 2027: FII cancels Riyadh meet; Houthi attacks fuel investment uncertainty
Saudi Arabia's highly anticipated investment conference, initially scheduled for October 26-29, has been postponed due to a rise in missile and drone attacks from Iranian-backed Houthi militants. This pivotal event, often dubbed 'Davos in the Desert', aims to find a new date in 2027. The worsening security situation is making international executives rethink their attendance, which could hinder Saudi Arabia's ambitious economic diversification initiatives moving forward.
