Scotland's Melanie Woods wins gold twice after Commonwealth Games wheelchair race rerun
Scotland’s Melanie Woods won the Commonwealth Games women’s T54 1500m gold for a second time after a controversial rerun of the final. Forced to race again following a first-lap crash and appeals, Woods delivered another dominant performance, setting a new Games record. Mauritius’ Noemi Alphonse took silver and Australia’s Eliza Ault-Connell won bronze in a dramatic conclusion.
