Snakebite in Virar kitchen turns fatal: 51-year-old woman dies despite treatment at 3 hospitals
A 51-year-old woman named Charlette Gonsalves died after a snake bite in her kitchen. She was bitten early Tuesday morning but did not receive immediate medical attention. After 30 minutes of first aid, her family took her to a private hospital. Gonsalves was later transferred to two more hospitals due to her deteriorating condition. She passed away in the intensive care unit early Wednesday morning.
