South Africa's wildlife corridor was broken for decades, but one elephant is reconnecting it

The Eden to Addo Corridor Initiative in South Africa spans 400 kilometers, linking protected areas to facilitate wildlife movement in fragmented ecosystems. This important program was born from the plight of the last Knysna forest elephant, known as Strangefoot. With the involvement of private landowners, the initiative aims to enhance biodiversity and enable species to adapt to evolving environmental challenges.
