SpiceJet fined Rs 20,000 after spilled noodles on Delhi-Surat flight scald boy
SpiceJet has been ordered to pay Rs 20,000 to a Surat resident after his son suffered severe burn injuries from hot noodles spilling on him during a flight. The incident occurred when a faulty tray table gave way. The consumer commission found a deficiency in service, awarding Rs 15,000 for treatment and Rs 5,000 for suffering and costs, despite the airline denying negligence.
