Study takes Ayurveda way to learn neuropsychiatry
Nimhans' YANTRA Programme, supported by Rs 14 crore Ayush funding, aims to study neuropsychiatric disorders through biomarkers and Ayurvedic assessments. Involving 2,320 participants, the research includes cross-sectional samples and a randomized control trial of Integrated Yoga and Ayurveda Management, targeting conditions like schizophrenia, multiple sclerosis, mood disorders, and Alzheimer's disease.
