Dayaram, a 75-year-old man, successfully underwent skin grafting surgery at a Community Health Centre in Gangapur, India. He was suffering from a severe bacterial infection that had destroyed skin on his leg. Unable to afford treatment in New Delhi, he was treated locally by Dr. Shrikant Patel. The surgery involved transplanting healthy skin to the affected area.
