Tamil Nadu assembly election: Rural candidates arrive in bullock cart, bicycle and with ploughs to file nominations
Independent and NTK candidates made a striking entrance to file nominations for the April 23 assembly election. Arriving in bullock carts, carrying ploughs, and with symbolic gestures like earthen pots and toy guns, they aimed to highlight farmer issues and voter awareness. One candidate even paid his deposit in Rs 10 coins to protest alleged corruption.
