A government school teacher in Salem, J. Jayaprakash, was suspended after a video showed him having a student massage his feet. The video went viral, prompting a departmental inquiry and a suspension order from Chief Educational Officer M Kabir, following instructions from Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi.
