Tamil Nadu to roll out digital driving licences, RCs from September 15
Tamil Nadu will introduce digital driving licences and vehicle registration certificates statewide from September 15. Applicants can download these essential documents online, eliminating postal delivery delays. New vehicle buyers will receive digital RCs after registration, and licence holders will get theirs on the same day. QR codes on digital documents will aid authorities in verifying authenticity and preventing fake papers.
