Thane BJP wants review of antecedents of labour provided by contractors
The Thane BJP has urged police to verify the identities of laborers at construction and civic projects to prevent illegal migrants from working. This follows an incident involving a Bangladeshi national with a fake identity. Residents are also concerned about illegal constructions and have been advised to get police verification for house-helps and new recruits.
