Thane doctors remove rare 8.5-kg abdominal tumour from 20-year-old woman after complex surgery
Doctors successfully removed a rare 8.5-kilogram abdominal tumor from a young woman. The complex surgery took place at Thane Municipal Corporation-run Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital. Investigations revealed a large mass occupying the left side of her abdomen. The patient has shown significant improvement after the successful procedure last month.
