UP power bills to get 5.24% cut in October, 4th straight monthly relief
Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited is set to roll out a 5.24% decrease in electricity bills for October, thanks to a negative Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge. This marks the fourth continuous month of savings for consumers, amounting to an estimated Rs 425 crore, which reflects the lower power purchase costs witnessed in July 2026 and aims to provide continued financial support.
