UP woman, lover strangle mother-in-law to death over affair dispute; accused return home to stage robbery after murder
A 36-year-old woman and her 21-year-old lover have been arrested for allegedly murdering her 69-year-old mother-in-law in Nishatganj, Lucknow. Police state an illicit relationship and family opposition were the motives. The duo reportedly tied the victim and strangled her. They switched off CCTV cameras to conceal their actions but were apprehended after the victim's grandson discovered the crime.
